From my point of view as a Christian I will like to answer your question.
It requires faith to believe in God, the bible,Jesus.
The spirit will let you know what is true or what is not true when you exercise faith. In seeing "knowing", faith is lost,so in order to grow in The Lord we must have faith. This thing what we call life is a test of faith in The one true God. Jesus.
No faith no belief, so to prove a point to a nonbeliever would be futile and in pursuit of wind.
So we must be an example of what Jesus was,is and will forever more be, Love.
God's love will draw you to the faith that is required, in order to grow as a child of God. A human can not do this for you. It will come from God not man. By way of the power of the Holy Ghost.

the bible is in its entirity true and certain, coming from somone that has living among "itellectualls" i have had a fair share of arguements, and if the only form of religion one has is trying to prove God wrong, you dont have much, well in fact you have none thus not having ny backing in a religious debate.
