My hands and feet swell and are sensitive and sore during the colder months. I have seen my primary care doctor, a dermatologist and a rheumatologist. I only show very early signs of ortho. arthritis in my hands. My ANA levels are normal too. I tried the lowest dose of calcium blockers and it didn't help. Since I am young and of good health, my doctor and i decided not to increase the dose. I am looking for more of a home remidy for my cold hands. I believe the swelling of my knuckles is due to the Raynauld's. Any good suggestions would be appreciated greatly.

I helped to care for a lady who had Raynaud's a few years ago and one thing she found very helpful was to wear "isotoner" gloves when she was reading or doing her handiwork, she liked to knit and she said they were the only ones snug enough to allow her the dexterity she needed and the warmth and protection she had to have. Good Luck to you!
