It is a funny thing that many Christians themselves are lost and do not realize it. I hate it when I hear things like this because no one knows how we will be judged, therefore we have no right to say who goes to heaven or hell. I don't think anyone has the right to disrespect anyone else; no one person is better than another, but I do understand how you feel. I see and hear this all too often, and as a Christian let me tell you,it really sucks.

Humans should not dis-respect anyone . So my answer to you is NO. If the Christians , get on your nerves, then ignore them. I Respect all religions and cultures. Why pick on one, if I don't agree with them ? Just leave them alone. If your an Atheist, that is your business, and not mine. And when you quote that 98% of the Christians all believe that Atheist will burn in hell, then I have to sadly disagree with you. All Christians know that God is a Loving God and a Forgiving God. He Loves you and me and all of his Children. None of us know where we will go, because that is up to God. We can't Judge others. I just wish all beliefs could Respect each other, like they do in Damascus.

You shouldn't disrespect people because of their beliefs. It is my belief that if you don't accept Christ into your heart you will go to hell. By telling you so, I am encouraging you to learn about the Lord and accept Him as your savior so that you too, can know the joys of having a greater purpose in life and knowing that He will be there in heaven for you. I am trying to HELP you by telling you about Christ. It is part of being a Christian. As an athiest, you can choose not to believe the things you are being told by me, that's your right, but at least I know that I've tried to save you, and believe me, I won't give up....because I know that He cares for you! Being disrespectful to me because of my faith is wrong. You have the right to disagree with me, but you should at least have both sides before you form an opinion and decide you disagree with me!

If it makes you feel better to dis them, then dis away, my brother.
My mom is what I'd call a "good Christian," but she doesn't get down hard on others, she enjoys a good stiff drink on occasion, she raised 3 kids to understand what love, respect, and sympathy meant.
Not all Christians are narrow-minded tight-collared droids.
There are people that give any group a bad name; doesn't matter what the focus or interest is.
There are @holes amongst both the believers and the non-believers.
I believe I'll have another beer.......

Let me see.......if there were an atheist that told me that I will suffer eternally for disagreeing..that would imply that that atheist believes in eternity and thus he/she would not actually BE an atheist which means that he/she believes there mgiht be a hereafter. If that is the case , that particular atheist wannbee KNOWS he/she will not make it to Heaven without accepting Christ . Now if that person does not make it to Heaven, there is only one other place to spend eternity.
Wow
Did you make our case for us?
Here's hoping that you'll come around before it's too late.

No one has a RIGHT to disrespect anyone else. We do it, but we aren't entitled to.
If we respected each other (that means you AND the Christians) we could possibly get along without having to prove each other wrong about everything. Don't you think that's a waste of time and energy?

Civil society means tolerance of others. However history has shown that where non believers are silent, the believers become oppressive.
It is time that non-believers stand up and be counted.
I have to admit that I find it hard to believe you can respect anyone's belief that is contrary to your own. The monotheistic system isn't really designed to promote that.

One stops in search of evidence of God's existence even as one is born back. There are believers who stroll far flung from the Lord, for inspite of reason. making a stupid determination does no longer make one deserve appreciate.

First listen to them. If they're acting like complete idiots, then you can disrespect them. You have a right to think anything you want about anyone.
