Ok, I really like this guy, and I am thinking about asking him to prom. But I don't want him to turn me down. He doesn't live here, though, he lives like an hour and 15 minutes away. I only talked to him for two days, during band contest. But, I really like him. I like him more than I've liked any guy. And I like him not just because of his looks, but because of his personality. Should I ask him to prom?? Is it better to ask him and him to say no, then you not ask him when he would say yes?? What should I do??

Ask him. You only live once as far as we know anyway! I liked a guy in High School and didn't ask him to the Prom, and guess what? I never went to the Prom. You will regret NOT asking him for the rest of your life, really. This time in your life is short and sweet, and you often spend your later years looking back on it. So I say contact him and ask him, he may just say Yes! If he says No, then accept graciously and find another guy who interests you and see if he can go. Good Luck and have Fun at the Prom!!!

Personally I would rather ask him and get turned down and wonder the rest of my life about what he would have said. B/C if you like this guy you can't turn that off like you would a tv so go for it, the worst that could happen is for him to say no and that wouldn't be the end of the world. It may feel like it but at least you would know where you stand with him.

Make sure that you talk to this guy and get to know him before you drop a question like Prom. Get to know him as a person as much as possible. He might be a great guy, but he may not want to go. The key is to not "throw" it on him and put any pressure on him to go. If he really likes you,I'm sure he'll go with you.

If you're still talking to him online and whatever, I'd say ask him. At least if he cannot go, you won't have to worry about seeing him at school every day. If you haven't had any contact with him at all in a long time, I wouldn't ask him.

If you want to ask him to the prom just ask him. If he says no. Look on the brite side.. he doesn't go to the same school as you. So it's not like you have to see him everyday.

Ask him fast before another girl asks him to the prom. If you don`t he will think you are not ineterested and he will ask another girl to teh prom.
