If you dont know how to spell Chihuahua, maybe you should do a little more research on the breed before getting one. Also be careful because looking for a "cheap" dog can lead to supporting puppy mills and unscrupulous breeders.
No offense intended.

Do you NEED a chihuahua or WANT a chihuahua? Do you want a purebred or just like the way chi's look? You can find both actually. Keep checking a Human Society/Animal shelter often if you just want a cute looking little dog and you'll actually rescue one that eventually could be put down ie. put to death. If you want a purebred then you better do some home work on the web cuz there are many types out there. Chihuahua's will cost anywhere from $200 to $2,000. I've bought one for $300 without doing my homework and not asking any questions on temperment, health, ancestry, blood lines and expected weight size and he turned out to be 14 lbs.! Loved him dearly but I really wanted a 5 or 6 lb. dog. After he passed I went to the dog pound and got a 4 year old, 3 lb dog for only $55.00. He's real cute, mostly white with brown spots, but he has a lot of health problems. I still have him but he's not much fun and way too fragile. All he does is pee, poo, eats and sleeps and is afraid of his own bark! But I made the decision to care for him and I do it well and don't regret getting him even though he's really needy - he could've had a worse fate! NOW, after doing a whole lot of research I have found a very reputable breeder and I asked many, many questions before I got the puppy. The breeder didn't mind answering any and all of my questions and was very patient with me doing so. That's a very good sign by the way. I saw my puppy's dad, mom, 1/2 siblings, aunts and uncles on sight which is another good sign. No breeder can or will gaurantee what size the puppy will grow up to be but from experience they can give you a pretty close idea. I paid $675 for her and she's exactly what I wanted. You really do get what you pay for... So put a lot of time and energy into what you really want from owning a dog. They can live up to 12 - 18 years so be very, very sure of your commitment in owning a dog. It's not like buying a purse or something and taking it back for a refund. It's more like a marriage without any thoughts of divorce. So make a good, intelligent decision about what you really want. If you want a quality pet then you should have no trouble in saving $ in order to get a really nice pet - not to mention vet costs and food...they depend on YOU to take care of THEM afterall. :)

what's a Chiwawa? i'm getting a blue lengthy coat Chihuahua from champion inventory in some weeks time, yet she's no longer affordable. A nicely bred Chi not in any respect will be. try Petfinder or Chi rescues. Edit: Ista for when I even ought to disagree with you. I have already got a blue Chi who's an rather good coach specimen. The puppy i'm getting should be coach high quality too. Blue is a organic Chi shade. Merles are literally not. Badly bred blue Chi's have epidermis complications and doggies from blue/blue breedings, yet those who come about clearly are not any diverse to the different Chi. Edit: Ista e-mail me with an cope with i will deliver you a image to. Blue Chi's are literally not uncommon and a lot less useful only for the shade than the different shade I agree. Blue is common with assistance from AKC, Canadian Kennel club and all major kennel golf equipment.

I agree with Kelly C! Be careful of cheap puppies--you get what you pay for.

There are literally hundreds of thousands of puppies in shelters that are waiting for good homes, most way less than $200.00. Paying an adoption fee supports animal shelters and SPCA organizations...what does buying a dog from a pet shop or a breeder get you? I'll never understand why people need to get a pedigree dog from a breeder when thousands of dogs are euthanized every day because there isn't enough space and aren't enough adopters.

(and yeah, the spelling thing helps.)

You NEED cheap puppies? That doesn't sound very ethical to me. There is a lot more involved with having a dog, than the price.

to get a purebreed Chihuahua, you will be spend more than $200, i paid $275 for the one i bought my daughter, and he was only a CKC, AKC's can get more expensive, and reseach a bog breed before buying one. Chihuahua's may be a cute litle dog, but they can have a temper if you dont know how to train them correctly.

You can expect to pay $2000 in vet bills if you pay $200 for a "pure bred" pup of any kind.

If you can't spell the breeds name, then you should have it. Why would you ask this question on yahoo anyway. This is somewhat a global site...

If you can't spell Chihuahua, maybe you need to get a stuffed animal instead
