As an alcoholic, I can say that when I stop drinking for as little as 4 nights in a row, when I start drinking again I "feel it" a LOT harder than usual. Tolerance can change rather rapidly...but I assume it also depends on the individual. Anyway...I think it's time for a drink. Hope this helps.

Yeah it does.
If you drink on a daily basis your brain and body adapt to residual levels of Alcohol. When you stop the body readjusts itself back to the original state. With the exception of the irreperable damage to your liver kidneys and brain etc.
Why is Alcohol legal again when less damaging substances are illegal? this really confuses me oh well guess i'll haev another beer and forget about it.

Yes, I quit drinking 9 months ago and after about two months of not drinking my aunt gave me a beer and I caught a little buzz off that one beer.

Yes - the less you drink, the less you can tolerate before being plowed. But then again - the more you drink - the more damage that is done to your body :)

hey, man, if u are a steady drinker, ur whole internal structure is assuming this fact - to the point, that uve to level it again - a day with a less average of alcohol;
if youve been dried up, this system wents out of order - thanks God - and you dont have anymore the powever to absorb the same quantity without beeing completely drunk the first time, and the second, and then you het used to it.........
but if youve stopped, stay there!

Yes, it probably will - so if it's been a while since you drank, don't have as much as you used to... unless you like to wake up on a bathroom floor wearing someone else's clothes and a tattoo of a name you don't recognise...

Absolutely. Once you grow up and have kids; and your drinking is confined to a beer at the (NY)Rangers Game, two is all it'll take!

Yes... it's like that with any drug. Alcohol, marijuana, nicotine, even caffiene... the trick is to not form a habit with any of them. That way, you'll receive the full "effect" from the minimum amount, without spending half your paycheck to support your "habit". (GOOD LUCK!!).

yes, mostly because of the regenerative function of the liver. right now, most alcohol passes through diseased portions of your liver, making more alcohol necessary to "feel it". if you take a break, and let your liver regenerate, the alcohol will be attacking healthy liver cells, and it will take less alcohol to become intoxicated.
