My manager has asked me to put together a slide show showing different homes that are for sale in the area. It would be about 150 slides. How much would someone charge for that service?

Don't worry about me getting paid for it. It's an extra project that I'm getting compensated for. I need a price.

If the pictures are all readily available, and all it takes is to copy & paste them, then it would probably take less than an hour to put together.

Adding details about each home would add to the complexity...Add in another hour if the info needs to be re-typed...Probably 30 minutes if it's ready to copy & paste along with the photos.

So, that much time multiplied by whatever you feel is an appropriate hourly wage for yourself.

Also, I have to agree with Tyler...If you're a regular employee, and this is what your manager has asked for, then you shouldn't be asking for extra.

If it's your manager then I doubt you should ask for extra money. Unless it's a totally outside project, then I'm not sure what fair price would be.
