I've never been in a relationship before. I've been too shy to even ask someone out. There a girl that I work with hat I like. She a little bit younger then me, she's 17 i'm 23. Is it wrong if I ask her becuase she's under 18? We haven't hang out outside of work yet but we get along good when we work together. I don't want things to get awkward at work if she's not interested. Should I ask her out?

What does it matter? She is 17 you are 23, when you are 36 she will be 30 and no-one cares. Just don't have sex with her until you are 18 and you will be fine. Ask her out, what do you have to lose? Things will be only more awkward at work if you continue to pine for her and do nothing, I assure you. If you know her answer, you won't have any regrets.

My advice, is to get together with a bunch of people from work - go out to eat, or to a movie, or do something fun with a group. If you find that she tends to gravitate towrd you, even in the group, she likes you. You then can decide whether you're ready to ask her out alone. If not, then you've lost nothing, and haven't been embarrassed. There's nothing wrong with being friends for a bit before you show romantic interest. Young girls can sometimes get scared when an older guy comes on too strong. Show her that she can trust you first. Also, until she's 18, I wouldn't have sex with her - that's spells danger with a capital D!!

You might ask her what particular things she would really love to go out and see, and then you might say that you haven't yet had the opportunity to go and see those same things together with someone and to speak about those same things with someone, and then you might ask her if it wouldn't be too bothering for her to go out and see those same things in the company of you.

Honestly, I wouldn't date anyone that I work with no matter how "cute" or "hot" they may be.
Trust me, if you start dating, your work ethics will go to "pot" and if you fall out you may just lose your job because of this too.
And, really, 17 is rather young.
Sorry to be so blunt, but why don't you look elsewhere besides your work - like a gym or something?
