It's -40 with the wind chill today in Canada. I'm sure it's there - I just can't find it. Rather than freezing to death looking for it, if someone knows SPECIFICALLY where it is, please advise. And yes, I mean block heater.

Contact your local Ford Dealership and ask them.

Do you mean a device for keeping the block warm in freezing weather?
If that's what you're talking about, consider this:
Unless your truck was built for and sold in an area where extreme cold is a problem, it may not have one.
They are options.
Most people in the south have never even heard of them.
If you bought it new, contact your dealer.
Ask them if it came with one.
Also, depending on what type (a lot of dealers in cold climes put them on as an add on freebie, since they're relatively inexpensive) it could be in two or three places some utilize block access through pre-existing threaded plug holes, a few actually utilize freeze plug ports, and other cheapos use the oil drain plug hole.....these tend to shorten your oil life......
Does your manual make mention of one?
Anyway....If you've scoured the lower block and front end high and low and can't find anything, chances are it doesnt have one.

If on the other hand you're talking about the heater core.....its in the passenger compartment in the underworks of the dash/firewall area.....look for the boxy area with the floor ducts coming out of it.

Don't assume that there is one, call the dealer and ask them. If it had one on a truck that new the cord would be there by the front grill or just beneath the bumper. If not definitely have one put in, they are a must for cold winters.
