I use Acronis True Image for backing up my important data, mails, contacts, photos, program settings etc and can recommend it to you. True Image can backup your entire PC or any separated files with a few clicks and it can store your backup images on any media (HDs, CDs, DVDs and any USB devices). If I'm not mistaken Windows Live Mail stores the email on *MS* server and not on *your* computer (and *that*'s how it happens you can get to your email even if you logon to Live Mail from some other computer, with your MSN logon userid, somewhere else in the world, like a library computer in Bangkok...)
