i have been with my boy for about three years on and off. although we have the best time together and have a lot in common, all he thinks about is sex. and honeslty, it's definitly NOT my main concern in a relationship. is it because he is in his early twenties? or is it because he thinks he loves me but what he really loves is sex? dam i'm confused. please help!

probably both...he loves sex and you...if a guy is with someone for that long he has feelings for her.
you say on and off...how on and off are you...in my experience when you continuously do the on and off thing then the relationship does end up being about sex...neither one of you are willing to completely move on because you are comfortable with him and he is getting someone that he knows will sleep with him.
do the two of you go out on dates? or is it just he comes over for sex? if the relationship is only physical then yes, he is using you for sex....

If you really want to know how sex driven your bf is, then deny him sex for a little bit and see how he reacts as compared to when sex is regular. It's like an experiment. If your boyfriend is truly addicted to the sex and not anythin deeper, then he'll probably go through a sort of withdrawal, with syptoms such as irritability, frustration, wandering eyes, increased masturbation and infidelity. But doing that may harm your relationship. My best advice is to try some new activities with your boyfriend so that you have something else to do and accept that sex is usually the most important factor in realtionships between 20 somethings.

To find out what he is in love with,
take away what he seeks for the most, and
try to spend quality time with him,
without involving any sexual activity.
If he can enjoy the time with u without,
involving the sex, then he loves u,
but if he gives u attitude when u refuse to
engage in sexual activity, then the relationship
was all about the sex.
But of course, if u have given it for free all this time
without marriage, he will expect it that way from now on.
So to have him fall in love with u because of u,
can be a shot in the dark now.

Well you have one part figured out, you obviously give him what he wants, but are you getting what you want. If he really loves you, with-hold sex and see how he reacts. If he becomes irritable and angry, then you have your answer. If he genuinely is concerned as to why you are with-holding, then he may be in love with you.
