it all goes back 11 months when we shared the bed one night and nothing more than him holding me till i slept,he was so sweet.I was still upset of the fact of catching my ex of a few years cheating(they r mutual friends)I saw him a couple months after that night and he came to me and said"your killing me"my ex was also there and freaking out that we liked eachother.I saw him at a party 6 months later and he walked in saw me and looked away quick,my ex was there again and i think thats why he looked away.Im now over my ex and ready to tell this guy that.I was told through mutual friends that he likes me but is keeping his distance for respect towards my x who is still trying to get me back.I was told he 'longs' for me.But i need to hear the truth from the source:'him'. Is this good that I m gonna call him?

Yes call him and inquire. U guys should really talk about the situation, and if he chooses to keep his distance then u should respect the whole idea, and understand where he is coming from.

Why not, it's probably better to know than not know. On the other hand, you need to respect this other guy for staying away from you. He is friends with your ex. And maybe you are really not over your ex at all, you stated that he is still trying to get you back, that means you have been in contact with him. You really need to step back and look at the big picture.........before you can truly move on.

He sounds to be struggling with his feelings for you. Also he sounds like a pretty upstanding kind of a guy, especially for him not taking advantage of you at the time you would have been most vulnerable. Unfortunately though, what makes him a good guy might also have him decide not to be with you for fear this will jeopardise his friendship with your ex boyfriend. call him .. don't play with his head though
if your not over your ex , being with other guys will not get you over him
and of course this guy is going to keep his distance from you, he's your ex's bestfriend
so call him and talk about it and see whats up .. if he honestly doesn't want to do that to his best friend respect his decision but agree to be friends
