Look, its got Hollywood backing and maybe, just maybe we could up our recruitment numbers with the number of idealogues who are willing to put our troops in the middle of a civil war. Of course isn't there a cry to get our troops out of a civil war? Must be the intention.

It was the Europeans who created that mess - it should be the Europeans who clean it up.

BTW - if Hollywood wants to do something about Darfur, they can go there themselves.

Of course there needs to be intervention in Darfur, but it does not need to come from US troops. Situations like Darfur are exactly why the United Nations were founded, are they not? Then why isn't the UN stepping in and doing something?

To answer the original question: NO! Why should we get involved?

And if "Hollywood" is so behind taking action, then let all of the know-it-all celebrities enlist and go fight. See how long that lasts.....

No.

Not with all the people whining that we shouldn't be the 'police' of the world.

It's funny that so many are against us getting saddam and stablizing that country (he killed many of his residents), yet they want us to go into dafur and basically do the same thing.

Unless we send only black soldiers we need to stay out. One white and all sides would unite long enough to try to exterminate the Americans. The best thing we can do is sell all sides arms and reduce our debt! War is one of mother natures population controls.

Yes. But only if it is led by some other country than the US.

So, that means nothing will happen.
