Unfortunately all easyjet tickets are non refundable. What you can do though is see if any other people you know want to use it and sell it to them (they can do a name change but you want to do it asap as they charge a fee and any difference in the cost of the flight when you booked and the cost now).

Other than that if she has a good reason for not going you could try and get a refund out of the insurance company you have used.

Sorry to give you bad news but that is the disadvantage of booking with a 'no frills' airline
have put in the link to there cancellation policy below

afraid not easyjet will not refund the tickets you can changes dates or change destination at a cost, you can change the names of passengers but what ever you do you will be charged

If you check the booking conditions you will see that they say no refunds even if they cancel a flight.

If you email EasyJet in this adress, easyjet@alpha-group.com, they should be able to help you. State your reasons for wanting a refund, and they'll take it from there.

make up a good reason for why shes not flying and just ask for the refund.
