There are many ways to volunteer in the community and still work a full time job. Schools, scouting, hospitals, community centers, the list goes on and they all are happy for just a few hours a week of your time.

A lot of jobs will allow you time each week to go volunteer during work hours; for example, one company I know of allows a person to volunteer one afternoon a week (for 6 months)and still get paid for that time.

Ask your boss if this would be possible for you to do.

Become a volunteer Firefighter.

I hold a full time job, and help people almost every day!
(And no, I don't have a social life)
