Civil Engineering PE Exam-Colorado?

How much time do you spend to prepare for this exam? I have heard that one should study 5 hours a day 6 months prior to the exam. I have also heard people say that the only time that they spent preparing for the exam was in hte prep classes.

It basically depends on how well you know the basics. I don't think 35 hrs a week is warranted, perhaps 10-15 hrs a week.

I would study and do different problems from each section and switch sections every 2 weeks. Then the last month I would review the earlier work and make sure you know where the material is in your references.
