sex is not as important in a realtionship as u might think, and its always the ones that used to have an extremely high sex drive that eventually lose it, it can b restored easily by spicing things up and experimenting with things u have never done with eachother, explore eachother, have fun n just go with the flow! new ideas r fantastic to restore ur love life!

There is no right or wrong way to answer this one. There are too many gray areas in sex and relationships. There is no perfect relationship. Every relationship has flaws and need lots of work and maintenance. How is everything else in the relationship?

If you are both mature, disciplined and good communicators, then you are likely to be ok with this. However, it will be frustrating for both parties at times. That's when you'll need to communicate and be patient with one another.

Important, yes. All-important, NO. If it is and 'the novelty wears off' what have you got left.
Having said that, We have been married almost 37 years and the novelty has not worn off yet!!

Yes it matters!! Compare sex with a loving partner to that of a stranger or "friend with benefits". Both are fun, but you get more emotional gratification sharing the bond with a loved one. The bond is stronger and you can let go of yourself (instead of performing for someone) . You won't know until you have TRUELY been in love. Infact, thats when the sex is better !!!

you have to remember that sex is a physiological need that human beings have, and that need is particularly higher in men. your question is also subjective depending on the relationship of the couple. some people don't need sex to define their relationship and others do. but any physiological need is going to be at least slightly important and probably one of the top things on your list.

yes is deffinately important .. but sometimes when you jump into sex too fast it takes a lot away from the relationship and makes just about sex.. then the sex gets boring and so does the relationship

sex is an important part of a relationship but don't make it the relationship because there is also much more involved especially in the communication department.

I think its important, but not to the point where my relationship relies on sex to survive! Trust and friendship comes before the sex for me!
