I would. Sounds nice. But remember that success would depend on the competition. Or the lack of competition thereof. Are there similar coffee shops in the area where you plan to start it? Is there a Starbucks or Barista's outlet nearby? People tend to frequent these outlets more, so if there such coffee-chains nearby, you might have a difficult time attracting customers. Is it going to be located in a commercial area? If so, you might be able to attract the office-going lunchtime crowd. I personally think that a sit-down business would be better than take-out/ordering at a counter. There is a personal touch involved in a sit-down business. A counter would be just another counter if the food isn't exceptionally great or outstanding. But if you can't afford it, it would be better to start off as a counter and expand into a sit-down as business grows. Remember that in this business, the food is what separates you from the rest. No. I was in the coffee industry for over ten years, and I can tell you that 98% of the guys who worked for me could not make coffee nearly as well as the females did. I have absolutely no idea what that's all about, but it's fact.
Not to mention the fact that what you're talking about is one Hell of a health code violation.

Sure. If men can go to Hooters for wings and beer and stare at breasts all night, then me and my girlfriends can go enjoy a nice latte and a pastry while staring at the hot chest of a man (not the "hot" part, we don't want any hairy dudes...)

Not me... I'm happily married, and even when I was single I didn't care for that stuff. I play for keeps only. If I can't have it, I don't like to be teased.
I also only shop when I'm out to buy something. ;-)
My Mom would probably like a place like that, though.

women are not drawn to places like that,,, men are visual ,,, it would be a a place that would work for a short time but then would be a losing money adventure
