Any distractions of the mind hurt that connection.

I made it stop, but it was really a hard thing to do.
First I went through my life, stage by stage, and saw all the wrong decision I made. And doing so I saw how bad things happend(or unusal things) to put me back on the road god intended for me. I even understood why my boyfriend had to have a terribel accident. Its all more complex then we realize. I started to understand that if I would have paid more attention in the past I would reached my goal alot sooner, and without alot of the pain.
After coming to terms with myself and my past I noticed that my old connection from childhood was back. I now have that original feeling, like when I was young and innocent. I ask questions and "feel" the answers. I talk to the universe and receive replies, in different ways.
Like once I was really unsure about something and said to god "I am not sure if you want me to do this or to wait, so if I see a form of an angel in the sky I will know you want me to wait". A day later I had forgotten my converstion I was outside and I had a feeling like a hand was under my chin push it up. I looked up and saw a cloud in the form of an angel. It disolved right away as I was looking. I knew to wait and I did and it turned out to be the correct decision.
I hope this helps you.

no body can stop u connecting god but sometimes when there ' s a lot of sins , the man finds himself surrounded by doubts and the devil plays the big game in the man ' s confused mind as it is lucifer ' s job , " this is the wall which u r talking about ".
but really , the wall could be broken if the man insisted to break it , how to break it ?
that is the question .
we "mankind" should build a strong relation with allah "god" by obeying him , praying , being good with the others , at this moment , be sure that the wall will be broken easily , even if u faced worries , problems and doubts , god will help u as much as u r nearer .
allah says in the qur'an : "ask me by praying i ' ll give u ur demands " .

I'm awfully sorry Milk, but I've never been able to connect with God. There must be a perminent ice storm between here and God's home. Connections are always cut.
Please don't break the wall down. You might be reported and made to have it repaired.

This is a contradiction. If you have serious worries then asking for help can go very high up the ladder towards God. Help will come but, seldom in the way you wished or expected. However, if you have doubts on God, then you are wasting your time with asking, because you are begging for something for nothing !

I don't think it's hard to connect with God in times of stress, doubt, depression etc in fact I'd say that makes people who believe want to pray more than usual.

that wall is made up from your own thoughts , not bricks. so stop thinking of those thoughts that are causing you anxiety or atleast for the time you are contemlating on spiritual matters. meditation is a great help and it doesnt have to linkedwith religion

You may not feel God is near when you have worries, etc. But, He still IS.
Talk to Him. Tell Him you don't feel anything (He knows anyhow)
He will break the wall down.
Remwember HE is connected to YOU
Your relationship to God is not dependant on your grip on Him, but His grip on you.

God as you are thinking of him is just a myth. Concentrate on positive things and get on with your life.
