Depends... Northern Ireland No you don't need one, Southern Ireland yes you do!

Northern Ireland is part of UK so a passport is not required.

Southern Ireland is a different country therefore a passport is required like any other foreign country xx

I would have said no. YOu have to pass through passport control on the way out and in. Not sure if you mean Northern Ireland, but with all the recent regulations re flights and lock downs on terrorism I wouldn't have thought so.

I think you even need a passport to travel to Ireland from England and Scotland. The rest of the world, you definitely do need a passport.

No, you basicly need a passport to fly anywhere. If you have a passport take it and use it as there is nothing worse than not getting on your flight.

Where are you flying from??? If inside Ireland, probably not. But if you are flying from anywhere else, yes.
Check with the airlines to be sure.

I've been to Eire loads of times without a passport, as has been said you will need some ID if flying there :-)

definitely do need passport with easy jet and i think also Ryan air. u would need to ask airline as they will not change their mind just because u turned up for ur flight as i know from experience. hope this helps

not from the US you can't. And you'll need a passport to get back into the states as well.

It depends on the airline. Easy jet yes, with valid photo ID. Ryanair no.
