no, church is not a requirement of christianity.

you can have fellowship with god anywhere, you can pray anywhere and worship anywhere. the bible says its good to have fellowship with other christians, but its not a necessity.

Of course not. The church is nothing but an institution. In the bible, the Church is referred to the body of Christians, like a collective. The idea of a church is kinda pointless because a) just because you build something doesnt make it holy b) its just a business, attracts customers and makes money (dont tell me you havent seen the big churches asking for money when the pastor owns 3 brand new holy SUV's) c) you dont worship at a church. What is worshipping at church? waving your arms or singing? God doesnt care about that, when did he ever ask someone to do that? When he means praise he doesnt mean literally clap your hands forever, think about it spiritually. Worry most about doing good things and focus on love, dont worry about all the little details like that. Church is manmade. Read some L. Ray Smith and he will show you how hell does not exist, or if it did it would be impossible to be sent there...

It's good that you believe in Jesus but you should go to church. I don't think God would send you to hell if you don't but God says you should be in fellowship with other believers..

Hebrews 10:25 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Well, why don't you go to church. Since you say you are a God-fearing man, don't you want to grow more like Christ? The Bible doesn't say 'go to church' just like that, it says to grow. You aren't going to hell because you don't go to church. Some non-believers go to church. You can worship God anywhere. Whether you're on a trip or at home. Going to church doesn't save you. It helps you grow more Christ-like.

If you totally believe in the Holy Bible, you would know that going to church does not get you into Heaven. I think that stems from a Catholic religion.

That's why you have to study (not just read) the Bible.

You know the commandment that asks us to Cherish Sundays. Not going to Church on Sunday violates the commandment. So, it is a sin. Now, if you feel your sin, regret it and do your best to change then it will surely be forgiven.

Don't feel guilty more than you feel God's love for you. God will not only forgive you, but He will also help you change. Trust in His great mercy!

To me it's up to the person. It is good to go to church. But I don't believe your salvation is based on it. When we go to church we are suppose to worship God anyway, not to see who is there. I have known people to have church service inside there house. As long as you are worshiping God and dedicating your life the way He wants you to it should be ok.

I have only read in the Bible, that it says not to forsake the gatherng of other believers. That doesn't mean you have to go every time christians are gathered there. This is for spiritual growth, and encouraging others.

There has been no change in the conduct of any church, temple, synagogue or mosque. Jesus trashed the money changers back then,,, why should you or I participate in the corruption today.
