Alright, so there is a considerable age difference between my boyfriend and I. I'm 20 and he's 28. He's been out of college for sometime now. So he's always on my back about not being mature(his mother tells him "You're an idiot. You can't spend the rest of your life expecting her to catch up to you, she's younger!"). Anyway, we used to fight about me being naive, too trusting, and too nice...but I'm not like that anymore. So anyway, today this kid who never does his work asks for my number for study help. So I gave him my number and he asks me "You need mine?" and I'm like "Hahahaha! No, what for? You're the one who needs help." So I shared this with my boyfriend after class because I am always upfront and honest with him. He gets mad and acts like an asshole acting like I did something horrible. What did I do? If the guy is being shady, I have no problem telling him off...that's not even an issue.

Your boyfriend is not accepting you for who you are and eventually this will start to wear down on your self esteem. He looks at your trusting attitudes as immature. You need to really start standing up for yourself as he has shown great disdain and disrepsect for you. Good luck to you!

I don't see anything wrong. Assuming that you will know if your study buddy is coming on to you and you can tell him that you aren't interested, then I don't see a problem being nice and helping someone else with his homework. From what you describe and the way you wrote it, I don't think that you have any interest in the other boy and are just being nice.
Question is whether your boyfriend trusts you. Do you have guy friends other than your boyfriend? I feel that there is an issue deeper than offering study help.
