Anything you wouldn't do in front of your partner, and anything you have to hide, and anything you won't tell him/her about.

well, if you are technically single, as in you're not married, then i consider cheating to be:
-kissing someone other than your bf/gf
-having sex with someone other than your bf/gf

basically, the physical stuff.

if you're married then i consider cheating:
-dating another person. even if it's just dinner.
-hugging another person--not like a friend, but an embrace.
-kissing or sleeping with another person.

when you are unmarried, then i think the lines of cheating are blurry. mainly, b/c you are still looking for that person. so, if someone sparks your interest, then i see nothing wrong with pursuing that, to an extent, to see if perhaps you want to date this new person as opposed to the person you are already with.

now, as for being married....
then, you have already decided THIS is the person i want to spend my life with. you don't get any more shopping around options, unless you have an open marriage.

that's why you wait to get married until you are SURE you want to spend FOREVER with this person.

take care.

Whatever your partner think is cheating. Anything that you wouldn't do with a stranger. Kiss, out on dates, loving someone else passionately, any of those plus more.

Dating other people while in serious relationship.
One night stands doesn't necessarily mean you are cheating. However if you are asked about it and lie, now you are really cheating.

Any type of intimacy between your partner and a third party. Be it kissing, love letters, cybering, sex, or whatever. If it's intimate it's cheating IMHO.

personally...to me cheating isn't just the action, but the state of mind. call me weird..but i kiss my best friends. i don't do it any longer because my bf called it cheating. cheating is kissing another guy or anything beyond it.

If you are out of state, its not cheating. If you are away at college, its not cheating. Also, if you spread peanut butter all over your balls, and have ur dog lick it off, its not cheating, cos its YOUR DOG.
