What sort of food/drink do you crave when you feel like your Mom should be taking care of you? The stuff you remember making you feel safe when you were a kid. Outside of the classic ice cream or chocolate. And is it localised to where you come from? For instance, when I'm really sick I want hot sweet boiled tea, with Carnation milk in it.

If I was missing my mom, I'd make homemade cornbread. Yummmmy, with a little bit of butter on top while it's still hot.

She'd also make a sooo goooood beef pot roast.

I'm from southern Virginia.

And drink would have to be hot chai tea. All of these things just seem to help me feel better when I'm feeling down.

Mmm, bovril on toast when the butter has melted just right. The bread has got to be white (never have white usually) & I am allowed the leave the crusts too.
