Besides helping you cleanse yourself out, a lot of times you think you are hungry when in reality you are thirsty. Skim milk helps coat your stomach so it isn't so upset when you are trying to eat less and adds protein which helps with making you feel satisfied. Water helps push out toxins in the body and hydrates you. Really they both are the only 2 drinks (juices have a lot of sugar and even diet sodas stimulate your appetite) that hydrate you without causing you to gain weight.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Not sure about the milk part, but with water, it has no calories, no fat, nothing. When you drink water you feel full and don't have the cravings, hunger feeling that you were having before you drank it.

water cleanses your organs, helps fibre to function properly and flushes out toxins and other stuff that your body doesn't need.

milk provides you with nutrients readily recogniseable by your insulin. your insulin is a little bit like keys to "unlock" your cell membranes and allow blood sugars, protein, and good fats to enter into your cell, nourish it and give it energy. when sugars, proteins, and good fats (essential fatty acids) can easily enter the cell to feed it, they don't get stored up in your body as fats. essential fatty acids like omega 3 (from deep sea fish like tuna and salmon) and omega 6 and omega 9 (from olive oil) also fight bad cholesterol by dissolving it away.
