I would like to lose as much as possible in the next 4 months. But, I am a pretty structured person and get things done quicker when I have a plan. I would like to have a workout schedule, are there any good websites or any advice anyone has?

I've found the secret to losing weight is really simple: just get into the habit of just not eating! We (in developed countries) have an abundance of food constantly being offered to us. Humans, for thousands of years, were in the habit of eating to survive and not just living to eat. No so, these days. So I've found that returning to what worked for our ancestors works for us today. I just ignore all the food advertising!

Be careful when trying to exercise and diet at the same time. Exercising can increase the hunger you have in your daily routine as it is now. That can make dieting much more difficult, with much more hunger pangs. Try getting into the habit of eating less food that is more nutritional first. Then, when your eating habits are set, add some light workouts to your routine, without eating more. This should speed up how fast you burn up those extra calories without losing the nutrition you need to maintain good health: enough water, vitamins, minerals, carbs, protein, etc... The human body can survive on surprisingly little to eat. Just make sure you are getting enough water and nutrients.

If you must have a diet "plan", the websites for all of them are located on the Yahoo! directory for dieting:
http://dir.yahoo.com/Health/Weight_Issues/Weight_Loss/Diets/

Here's another one for dieting plans:
http://dir.yahoo.com/Business_and_Economy/Shopping_and_Services/Health/Weight_Loss/Diets_and_Programs/

Typing in 'exercise and diet' in the Yahoo! search box also brings up a lot of good links and some good shared questions about exercise and diets at the bottom of the results page.

Good luck!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Try a cleansing diet! I did and lost 11 pounds and 21 inches in only 9 days. I was very happy with the results and continued on the program and lost 29 pounds in 5 weeks. This is the fastest I have ever lost with other diets like Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Medifast, Slimfast etc…. Cleansing works by removing toxins from your body. You get toxins from your food (pesticides, preservatives, food additives, colorings) water, chemicals, pollution, medications, alcohol, hormones that the animals you eat were fed etc….YUCK! The toxins get coated with fat and remain in your body. To remove the fat, you have to remove the toxins. This system worked for me, maybe it can work for you too. You can check out the website or call this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 for more info. The program is not cheap, but it is worth every penny since it works and keeps you motivated. Good luck! I'm trying to lose 15 pounds and I set up these rules for myself.

1. Run/Jog 30 minutes or more 4-5 times a week
2. No junk (chips,cookies,ice cream, candy,soda, doughnuts, fried foods,pizza,sweetened juices,potatoes)
3. No eating past 6 pm
4. Drink a lot of water
5. Snack on fruits/popcorn
6. Limit pasta and rice during dinner time and eat more vegetables and lean meat (chicken, turkey, or fish)
7. Take the stairs instead of the elevator
8. Exercise with friends, bf, or gf
9. Keep yourself busy to avoid snacking
10. Eat before you go to the grocery store
11. If you need to eat pizza or something else that's high in calories..try to eat it for lunch so you can burn off the calories during the day.
12. Join Sparkpeople

Hope that helps!

sparkpeople.com is free....it's pretty good, you can set up a workout plan and a diet plan if you want. it's definitely structuted.
it has a lot of foods from different restaurants too if you want to keep track of your calories, etc.
Weight watchers might be good too, but if you're just looking for a workout routine, try sparkpeople.com.
But all you really need to do is cardio 4x a week and some weight training. Good luck

One small bit of advice! I don't know what your habits are, but I quit drinking cokes and lost 25 lbs in about a month! They are high in sugar and when I eliminated them from my diet it took off the weight. I had been running a mile a day and it didn't work until I quit them. I just thought I would offer that.

you should try isagenix. isagenix is a great product. it helps you lose weight fast and safely. check it out at --1succes.isagenix.com-- you can buy it at retail price or sign up as an associate and get it a lot cheaper at wholesale price. it works so well that it was even on the news! (the news clip is on the site) ... and most importantly, it offers a 100% money back gaurantee (which you most likely won't need) check it out and contact me at --isagenix.succes@hotmail.com-... .... the reason I tell everyone about this is because i've used it myself, and nothing has ever worked better.
