I'm on my feet several hours a day for work & before the night is over, they are burning & swelling. I have to put foot cream on them on breaks to make it through the night. By the time I get home I can barely walk. I've it for almost a year & been to the doc twice. Done all the exercises as well. Any other suggestions?

This is not a wound that will heal, but you can take other measures to help ease the pain.

I have it too and I'm a waitress. I use the 3/4 arch supports and they help sooooo much! (buy at Walgreens, CVS, Osco, Albertsons, any drug store or discount retailer like Target or WalMart) Make sure you are wearing footwear that is snug, but not tight on the foot. Too much movement aggravates the problem. Repace your shoes as soon as the interior shows signs of wear.
If none of this helps, see podiatrist and have custom inserts made for you.

A good foot doctor can give you a shot into the affected area...however, it is EXTREMELY painful..but worth it..mine got better rather quickly afterwards..however, he thought I may have to come back for more injections, thankfully, I did not...it usually will not heal on it's own especially if you are constantly on your feet...(or if you are a tad overweight...which is usually what brings the condition on..)...you could also have a bone spur...also taken care of usually by injection....I would highly suggest you go to a podiatrist to have this looked at....he/she will have the expertise to help you....

It doesn't usually heal. YOu need to go to a good shoe store and be fitted for a proper pair of shoes like rockports or SAS. They will cost more than regular shoes but it the best treatment for it.

change shoes several times a day, and it took me almost a year to heal.
