...when it comes to dating someone new? How often should you call? How often should you hang out? If it seemed in the beginning that the other person was totally interested, but then stops contacting you, how do you deal with that? Do you just let it go, or call and find out what's going on?

You both need to be comfortable with the intimacy and familial levels. If he stops contacting you, that is a big, bold and bright neon sign to slow down.

"Familiarity breeds contempt."

Just step back for a bit and he'll come back to you if the feelings were true. If not, stop wasting your time and move on to bigger and better things.

I would find out what is going on, he will probably give you stupid reasons, like, too busy. He does not call you because he is not interested anymore. After making that last call, move on. And think to yourself "thank god you are not with this flake any longer". I think a person should at least end a relationship without being coward.

First of all you shouldn't have to think that much about it, there is no right or wrong answer. Everyone is different in there needs and wants. What works for one might not work for another. I suggest that you call one time if they dont call back move on life is too short for anyone to wait around for someone else. If you don't respect the fact that you are worthy no one else will.

New relationship is hard to say, i think it all depends on the chemistry between two people. If a guy stops calling you, don't call him everyday, you're just going to sound desperate, needy and clingy, maybe 2-3 times a week. If he doesn't return calls, then its a sign to just move on. Maybe he didn't feel any connection.

Good Luck

I don't like calling guys alot because I know they hate it. Well most of them. I've heard they like their own space and a girl like that suffocates them. Let some more time pass by because there could be a chance that he is busy or he just lost interest in you. Let him breath, he'll thank you for it.

if the other person has stopped calling..... it might hurt at first but the sooner you move on the better.

don't cut them off, but be honest that you sensed they were not interested any longer.

since it sounds like there was no real commitment involved don't allow yourself to be co-dependent uppon them by attempting to find out why they are not interested.

just go with the flow, i always see questions on here "what do i do, help!" just feel it out, if you feel like calling then call, if you want them to call then dont call. if you want to appear in a certain way then use those behaviors. if they stopped contacting me after mixed signals i would call, you deserve it. hang out as much as you can if you really like eachother.

Call EVERYDAY, EVERY 3 HOURS! make sure they know you want them, that you love them and want ot be with them. If they stop contacting you, just KEEP CALLING, they are playing hard to get. If they file a restraining order against you, thats just part of their plan. they want to see how far you are willing to go to get them. If they tell you that they aren't kidding and REALLY want you to leave them alone, DON'T, you need to PROVE you want them

GOODLUCK!

If they dont pick up, they just wanna see how much ull call, cos the more u call, the more u care about them. Therefore, call as much as possible, and if they dont pick up, u shud be happy cos they are simply anticipating you calling more.

Y'all need to compromise with what is possible. Call whenever possible. Once a day is normal. But dont get mad if ya'll cant talk for one day. Sometimes its just not possible.
