Some people might find this gross but what causes blood in one's stool?

It can be hemorrhoids, tears, fissures, polyps or cancer or any number of things. It needs to be checked by the doc right away. Call and make an appointment to see your doc.

Could be hemmoroids, could be some irritation further up in the intestines,could be caused by straining(if constipated)or diaahrea because of consistancy of stool. Several causes, so check with your doc. Good luck.

some kind of digestive problem usually. or internal bleeding into your stomach, which passes through. any reason is NOT good though. that means something is wrong.
