I have this crush on a girl, the only problem is her name is Farqwa (not even sure i spelt it right) Its a really odd name, and I am afraid IF i ask her out I will mispronouce it, or it'll sound like a curse word. This has already happened in history class where I first saw her, I swore the teacher cussed during role call! What can I do, or should I just not date her because of her name??

Ask all of her friends how you say her name. Don't forget to award them each two points for an answer, and don't forget to subtract five points from yourself for asking the question.

No. Just politely ask what her name is. Use that as your segueway to ask her out.

just go up to her and say" sorry, I 'd like to ask you something but I can't seem to pronounce your pretty name correctly"...(then she'll say her name..."ahh Farqwa, would you like to go out?" and you got yourself a date buddy.

she sounds exotic, go for her- just send her a note saying you're dying to get to know her but you can't make a start till you know her name..................
