Thanks guys. Was just wondering as it doesnt say so on the packet. I don't intend on drinking lots or anything, i knew alcohol is an irritant of I.B.S its just with valentines coming up, i wanted to see if a glass or two of wine would hurt. No harm with going without i guess!

It would seem you would counteract its effect, since alcohol can cause bowel irritation.

Won't hurt - BUT - alcohol is an irritant for IBS - so take it easy with it anyway.

It's not advised to drink any alcohol whilst on medication. My girlfriend's a nurse.

I wouldnt suggest using alcohol at all - much less with IBS, as it irritates it...
