Is there any animals that cats get along with except fish and dogs? I have 3 cats, a dog and some fish, my cats do good with them except sometimes trying to get into water. People tell me cats would kill birds if got a bird and would not do good with them, I want to get another pet but just don't know what

The type of pet you bring into a household with cats is going depend upon the cats' ages and temperaments. Some are predatory and some aren't.
One animal I found did well with my cats was a ferret. She was quick and clean; if she ate from the cats' food dish, it didn't harm her since a ferret's normal diet is very similar to kitten food.
Some people do not like the way ferrets smell. Some ferrets are pretty pungent, and others are barely noticeable.
For whatever it's worth, my cats LOVED ferret smell. Seriously.
We had a kitten who was raised with our ferret and they were best pals.
When it comes right down to it, cats in general are pretty cowardly when it comes to other animals if they're the size of a large rat or larger. Sure, they'll sneak up behind to get a sniff, but generally the moment the other animal turns around, the cats will jump back.
Birds, however, are often another matter altogether. Unless it's a good-size Macaw or something equally intimidating, there's something about a bird that cats just can't seem to resist. It's got to be the way they dart around, and then the plumage...well, ever notice how many cat toys have feathers in them? If a cat inflicts even the tiniest bite to a bird, the bacteria from the bite can quickly cause sepsis (systemic blood poisoning) and death can follow rapidly. You have to be extra-vigilant when considering a bird as an additional pet. Cats have been known to knock cages hanging from the ceiling to the floor and devouring the resident before you can say "help!"
Bear in mind that sometimes another animal--say an aggressive ferret or large parrot--can actually hurt the cat.
If possible, find a friend with the same sort of pet you're thinking about and try letting them see each other from enclosed carriers.
(Do NOT put them in the same carrier, EVER!!)
If a gradual introduction seems to go fairly well, it might give you an indication of how things might go.
Be ready to intervene, but always be aware that a scared animal can bite, so don't go sticking your hands in the middle of a fray.
Clap loudly, toss water, or bang on a pot or pan to break it up.
Having a backup home for the new pet isn't a bad idea, either...just in case.

It depends on how well the cats are introduced to the other animals and how well they are taught that the other animal is acceptable. We have owned birds, fish, hamsters, and dogs and my cats have gotten along with all of them. My hamsters used to run around in my living room floor and my cats would just sit and watch them. Even when we left, the hamsters chewed their way out of the cage (plastic, big mistake) and my cats still never hurt them.

I used to breed/raise guinea pigs. The only problem I had with them and cats is when my roommates cat decided the guinea pigs cage was the best place to give birth to her 3 kittens. Had a huge cage for my guinea pigs and since the cats got along with them, left the top off. Finally gave in and let her have them there. Piggies and kittens raised in same cage, go figure. lol

Rabbits and cats usually get along as well. Had a kitten who bonded fiercely with my one rabbit I used to have. Outdoor rabbits but whenever I opened the door to the one hutch, ole Smoky (cat) would jump in and play with Snowball (rabbit).

I have 3 cats and 2 rabbits. The only problem I have had is when they knock stuff over while playing and the cat trying to use the rabbits litter box.

I don't know your cat but one of mine loved his rabbit friend and when I was young I had a big old white cat who's best friends were a hampster and a duck that he did everything with. the cat and the hampster slept on my bed together while i did my homework. Hope this helps

ferret....I have heard that they are not natural enemies, though for a while i would make sure to have supervised interaction and a nice slow gradual introduction.
