cure????? honey if you find a cure please let me know. I too, have a loud snorer and I tell him to bring me home some ear plugs his company passes out for the loud noises at his work. It does seem to help unless he is gunning to be the loudest snorer in Maine. We have tried everything but nothing works. kicking him in the *** doesn't seem to help, elbowing him doesn't help either. I told him if he continues to get louder and louder, there is a nice big dog house with hay in it just for him. LOL. I do know that I made him schedule an appointment with the doctor because I found that at times he holds his breathe in while sleeping which then ignites a huge long loud snore. There is a procedure for snorers I heard about but haven't had time to check online, but there is a procedure out there the doctors can remove something and it stops the snoring. I would suggest checking web md. Good luck my dear.

Tell him to see a Dr.
I lived with snoring so bad it would wake the neighbors. No, I kid you not!
I finally was convinced to see a Dr. by my wife. I have had 4 surgeries on my nasal passage (deviated septum) on my soft pallet for a better air way and in the throat to make a wider airway. They were all painful yes, but they cleared up so much of my snoring that they were very worth it.
Breath right strips work for people with breathing problems during the night, and they also help me. I recommend them to lessen snoring (but it does not CURE it.)

He needs to see the doc to get checked for medical causes for his snoring like sleep apnea or sinus problems. Once the doc rules out a medical problem the doc will tell him what to do for his snorning. Call and make an appointment for him as some causes of snoring can be serious.

a couple reasons he snores - overweight or sinus problems
try sewing a pocket on the back of his PJ's and put a tennis ball there. he won't be able to sleep on back so this will make him turn over and then he won't snore

Don't risk a 'broken-rib-by-elbow' like I did...Wear a Kevlar vest to bed.
This advice is meant for the snorer, not the snoree.
