Depends on the species of parrot. All of the ones I have ever "met" make a lot of natural sounds. Everything from soft chortlings to very loud screams.

If we knew the species of parrot, then it would be easeir to post links to sound clips.

While most parrots have some sort of squawk or screech, the Grey's natural sounds consist mostly of clicks and whistles, though they can, of course, learn to imitate the sounds of other birds.

African Greys are the most intelligent and talkative parrots you can get. They´re made to talk, in any language they learn. They squawk, squeak, whistle, chirrup, chortle, sigh, and make any other sounds you can think of. A parrot I read about once brought the police running because it was repeating (at full volume) a murder scene it had watched on TV the previous day!! It also embarrassed its owner when the local priest came for a visit, by making loud glugging and belching sounds when the priest was handed a can of Coke. Guess where he learned to make the sounds? ;) Anyway, hope this helps
