My husband has three sisters, one of them, if she died, well, neither of us would go to the funeral. The other two are alright but we all live on opposite ends of the country and never see each other and communicate infrequently. I would feel sad for my husbands loss, but feel no way in particular about them dying. So, since I am a reasonably sane and happy woman, I would have to say that that is OK

I wouldn't ever admit to that, but it could be either because you were not close to your loved one's sibling or you just did not know him/her. It could also be that you are numb and aren't feeling anything yet. You know, just the shock of it or disbelief tends to make you not feel anything.
Be supportive of your loved one and let him know you are there for him. Try to make his life easier wherever you can during this diffcult time.

Sure, it's OK! As long as you have feelings for the one who just lost the sibling and express your condolences, you're fine.

It's ok. As time goes on, you'll get your feelings back. This is kind of a "numb" stage. If you weren't that close, it may take quite a while.

I've never been in that exact situation. My husband's aunt died and that's about as close a family member he has lost. I had never met his aunt, so I could not share his grief, but I knew he was in pain and I did my best to comfort and console him.

WHEN MY GRANDMOTHER PASSED AWAY SOME OF MY COUSINS DIDN'T SHED A TEAR. THAT'S BECAUSE BEFORE HER FUNERAL THEY SAW HER ALL OF 2 TIME IN ABOUT 5 YEARS. SO I THINK IT IS OK IF U ARE NOT THAT CLOSE TO THE LOVED ONE.

I can understand you not having great emotional sadness if you weren't close to the one who died but I CANNOT SEE YOU HAVING NO FEELINGS ABOUT THE LOSS YOUR LOVED ONE HAS SUFFERED.
