This is really interesting! My Spanish speaking friend is with me right now and says. ' empatia - no se!'

Try looking up empathy in a thesaurus, finding a synonym and then translating those into spanish perhaps?
Just had a look on dictionary.com (the thesaurus section) and it's saying comprehension, insight, responsiveness, along with others but I don't know how accurate the website is I'm afraid.

Easy - it's the same - empatÃa. The 'tilde' over the 'i' means that's the accented vowel - pronounced 'em-pa-TEE-a' for English-speaking people.

Try 'empatÃa'. That's the same in portuguese.
