I hear ya!!! They say 5 servings of fruits and veggies a day, right? I've found drinking more water helps a lot. They say that sometimes, when we think we are hungry, we're actually dehydrated. Try drinking a few servings of water in between meals as well to ward off the hunger pangs. Also try seeing if you can make it through A hunger pang without eating anything (just one, OK?). This might take a few tries. Basically what you're looking for is the hunger going away. Your body can get used to regular eating habits. If you don't acknowledge a regular hunger pang, after a short while, your body may stop having them.

I think eating too much fruit depends on how well the individual processes the excess acid and sugar from fruit. And you'd have to eat a lot of potatoes (veggie) and banannas to get too much potassium. If you eat fruit for a really long period of time, it is possible, like anything to become sensitized, or allergic, to it, depending on the person. So you might want to take a break from the fruit every now and then to let your body wash any excess effects away. I've also heard that people with high blood pressure on high blood pressure medication shouldn't eat grapefruit. Don't know if that applies to you.

If you are trying to lose weight and you are feeling hungry in between meals then I guess you are not getting the correct nutrition. I lost a stone and a half in 6 weeks. I had loads of energy, didn't feel hungry and have kept the weight off for 6 years now!!

It was on a diet recommended to me by a friend.

Have a look at the website below where you can also ask for a FREE consultation.

you can eat too much fruit. fruit contains sugars which could lead to your filling more hungry frequently and also gives you that bloated feeling. minimise ur consumption of fruit, drink more water. if you are eating as normal and just replacing your snacks with fruit you might find it difficult to loose weight. although fruit has a lot less calories than say a bar of chocolate you could still be eating a lot of calories in your main meals and if you do not follow this with some sort of exercise it could be difficult to see results

exercise for 30 minutes a day every day.
drink between 3 and 5 litres of water a day
have a good breakfast (porridge is high in fibre and energy) followed by toast and a boiled egg
Have a balanced filling lunch, lean meat maybe with a tomato sauce, whole grain rice or roasted / baked vegetables
in the evening just have a little, the smallest amount, maybe a slice of wholegrain bread with a banana (helps sleeping too)

remember to drink at least 3 to 5 litres of water a day!

Fruit does have sugar in it, just a different kind of sugar and yes you can eat too much fruit. I once at a bunch (and I do mean a bunch, about 2-3 baskets worth, maybe more) of strawberries and I threw up a couple of hours later.

Try eating nuts. protein takes longer to digest so you will feel less hungry and it also helps you to lose weight. Make sure you are eating lean and low fat stuff with no vegetable oil.

Eatin too much fruit may result in tummy ache or/and diarrhea. Try seeds such as pumpkin, sunflower, etc or nuts or yoghurt, (chestnuts contain the less calories). Or maybe get a juicer and make a fruity drink with bananas, that should help fill you up. xxx

Just be careful, a lot of fruits are very high in sugars. ie, pears grapes, pineapples, ripe bananas. Also watch the dairy in your yoghurts, some of them are not so great for you.

I do as that's a healthful nutrition source. i discover it exciting that a proclaimed vegetarian as your self limits herself to such a awesome source of nutrition. surprisingly on a daily foundation. solid success on that decision.
