I have a 3.06Ghz Sony Desktop Vaio that I upgraded to Vista Home Premium. All went O.K. except the driver for the integrated sound card failed. The ASUS and Sony websites were no help...the old XP driver fails with a "this is an XP Driver message". The motherboard is an ASUS P4S533VL. The Driver that is failing shows up as a soundMAX audio. Anybody?

install an alternative soundcard and wait a while until a new driver becomes available to support your motherboard.
