Perhaps the reason so much hatred pours down from the stands at Ibrox is because Rangers fans actually hate themselves as individuals. Think about it, it makes sense.

This problem dates decrease back to the early twentieth century even as Rangers were only a small close by football crew in Govan. Harland and Wolff shipbuilders outfitted a shipyard at Govan and presented over a large type of protestant workers who latched onto Rangers. that they had a dislike for Catholics and something 'Irish'. interior of seven years or so that that they had replaced the colors of the close by crew to purple, white and blue, the colors of the Union Flag, and stepped forward a dislike for Celtic who were predominantly catholic with Irish roots. This dislike has Northern eire sectarian roots. i recently pronounced a headscarf broking. 3/4 of the scarves were both orange (no longer a Rangers shade, yet a connection with King William or Ornage and the conflict of the Boyne), references to Northern eire, or references to King Billy on his white steed practise those Irish a lesson on the conflict of the Boyne. One set of followers are as undesirable as the different, yet out of both Rangers are the worst for bigitory, and symbolize each and every thing that is incorrect in Scottish football. Bizarrely, i understand many Rangers followers, who're biggots, yet they don't see themselves as such.

A quick review of your Q & A reveals you to be one of those boring politically correct liberals struggling to keep your voice heard amongst the din of those shouting you down. Perhaps selling the Big Issue is having an affect on your self-esteem and too much Buckies is clouding your cognitive processes and thus you pose a ridiculous question. Naturally you draw answers from the pond life such as Dyler Turden who suffers from the involuntary habit of excrement emissions from the mouth. Nobody forces you to come to Ibrox to get your fix so why dont you just stay well away and then your sensitive ears will not be offended.

nyrmetros - being a Celtic supporter from Philly, I was appalled to see that you support both Glasgow Rangers AND NY Rangers. And I almost choked when you brought up Claudio Reyna!!! Decorum prevents me from telling you what I really think of him.

I don't think the fans hate themselves. They do, however, hate everyone else.

If thats the case then celtic fans must absoloutely detest themselves to account for the hatred n sectarian bile that spews from their mouths, as for us 'no one likes us we dont care'

Undoubtedly so, I remember a case a few years ago where a hun was sitting in his local masonic and he was set about by some other huns for the heinous crime of wearing a Scotland strip. Sums everything that is wrong with Rangers up in one go for me.

No they just hate what they have become. Smal, narrow minded bogots who follow the team that got the backing of a rich businessman.

Now he's bored and he wants out Rangers and are drifting into the wilderness of UEFA Cup, challenging for 3rd place in the League!

Just wait till Romanov sells Hearts and buys Castle Greyskull and all it's mis-fits. Rangers will be the new FC Kaunas.

How do you sing 'We are the people' in Lithuanian???

No I don't think so, the opposite in fact they think they are something that they are not, hence the fascist chants of "we are the People". They just can't accept that they are Scotland's 3rd or 4th team, they got lucky with a millionaire sugar daddy, but he's not interested anymore and they are drifting back to their natural place in the scheme of things, but some fans don't accept this. Once they do accept it we will see all the Souness revolution fans disappear and we'll be back to 5000 at Ibrox every second Saturday.

As a NY Rangers fan, I care. The New York Rangers and Glasgow Rangers are two great teams, with two great sets of supporters, with two great royal blue kits, and two fantastic stadiums/arenas. We are both True Blue. Rangers FC even had a Yank play for the team a few years ago, Claudio Reyna. I am not sure if the NY Rangers ever had a Scottish born player on the squad.
