We've got stopped for a taillight being out and then he said our load was over weight, they write us up for speeding 45 in a 25MPH. Which wasn't true for we had just made a left hand turn, going uphill and in a 1 ton Dually with a 1/2 a load of metal for scrap. It is impossible to go 45 after you straighten this vehicle out from the turn. It ended up us having to go to court with proof we were not overweight (picture of the load proved that as well as weigh in sheet.) Proof that all lights worked-signed papers from 4 witnesses. Plus we had to take time off work and waste courts time. If they stop you for something that reason should be on the ticket. I wonder how many others are stopped for some reason that isn't true? It's like they go through a list until they find one you can't fight on the spot. Thanks to all the people who had picture taking ability on your phones. Pictures tell a story.
Cops should quit stopping people that have no legitimate reason to be stopped.

He did have 45 on his radar gun but I think that person got away from him and he pinned it on us. For where he was sitting (facing) the opposite direction and all the alleys around I thind the real culprit gave him the slip. For out here they have to give a quota and I think we gut sucked into his.

I cannot answer for your specific instance, but let me answer for the 'quota' part.

Cops do not have a quota. That being said, they do have to have a certain 'activity' level. This activity level is looked at by their superiors and their co-workers. It shows if they are making contact with the public, negatively (by having a high activity level, meaning writing every Tom, Dick and Harry a citation) or positively (just making contact, warnings, not as many tickets). This activity level can dictate their raises or their promotions or evaluations. I am not justifying anything that they do unjustly, but I have asked my husband and got a very clear answer on this. There is not a quota for tickets. bottom line.

3? Piffle. superb i've got seen is 24. yet that variety right into a vehicle chase, and earlier those could be charged as a legal. If he has dashcam of the incident, you have not have been given any protection. If he does not, you're waiting to convince the prefer to not revoke your license or superb you $3 hundred consistent with cost ticket. or you will possibly not. no one is familiar with what a choose will do for any particular case. the place this befell will actual have a great effect on fines and effects. the place i'm, those 3 might get you approximately $500 in fines and a million three hundred and sixty 5 days unsupervised probation. some cities over it would be $a million,500 in fines and a million three hundred and sixty 5 days of unsupervised probation.

No, the police don't have to put everything on a ticket that they pulled you over for. There are some cars I pull over that have so many violations it would be ridiculous to sit there and tell the driver all of them, let alone write them all down.

"Hi. The reasons I pulled you over are...you were speeding, you have a tail light out, you threw trash out of your window, you have no mud flaps, you failed to signal at the turn, your windshield is broken, your brake lights don't work, your rear tire is bald, and you have illegally tinted windows." (Too long)

My tickets have always correctly stated the reason why I was pulled over...usually it's for a bit too heavy of a foot.

Police cannot pull you over for a "fishing trip", but if they follow they can always find a legitimate reason for a stop. and then they can look for anything and everything
