If he hasn't thrown up for at least 30 minutes, you can give him a little bit of crushed ice. If he can keep that down for at least 30 minutes, then you can give him some water to sip. If he keeps that down, he needs to drink more. Give him some Tylenol for the fever. Don't let him get dehydrated---it can happen so quickly when you are throwing up AND have diarrhea.

acetaminophen and lots of fluids. When the Pharmacies open in the morning.........he'll still need the precise same things.
In short there's not much to be done. He has what appears to be a routine intestinal virus that will clear out in a day or two.
If you start seeing a high fever, or bloody diarrhea, or he becomes lethargic, then he will need to be seen ASAP by a doctor.

If it is the flu, your doctor can prescribe a drug called TAMIFLU (anti-viral) which can help with the symptoms and decrease the length of the illness. Keep him warm, not bundled, very well hydrated (even if he keeps throwing up-PUSH FLUIDS...some with electrolytes is very beneficial, chicken broth, Propel, ect...). Try ibuprofen for the fever and aches, every 6-8 hours, Imodium AD works great for the diarrhea and often works in one dose (comes in liquid and pill form), and REST...lots of rest. Good luck to both of you.

its important to take lots of liquid all day and night to avoid dehydration.
he could drink boiled water (let it go cool/warm before drinking) maybe put a little salt in the water to help with the dehydration - but not alot - and some sugar to refuel his energy levels.
take everyday painkillers if you have any, they help you feel a bit better (read instructions for correct dosage)
if you are worried or he gets worse, then seek medical advice (phone a doctor).
you could check to see if there are any over-night pharmacies in your town or at the hospital.

This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Try exercising all parts of your body. It also sometimes is due to disuse atrophy. Consult a doctor if it persists. You can also look for information in the web. I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html

He has to be given liquids...try ice, Jello, gingerale, sweetened tea, and aspirin, or something similar for the body ache. Do not give him dairy products. Sometimes saltine, or soda crackers will help, and help him to drink
