Ahhhhhh, I feel sorry for this dog. Here he thought he was getting a home and you're ready to reject him. What does he do that has you classifying him as stupid? If you don't know how to train him maybe you can take him to be trained. Is there other dogs in the home? Give the poor dog a chance.

Your dog may not be the brightest candle on the cake but that doesn't mean you should take him back. Dogs are loving and sweet and can be great pets whether they are smart or not. You should keep him and seem him for the good qualities that he does have. I'm sure that he will end up being a great dog. Give him a chance.

I have seen alot of stupid people, but never a stupid dog. The dog must feel he got a bad deal with you and is wondering if he could trade you in for a better owner.

Not all dogs are brilliant just like people-I have a dog who can't learn anything and I have had dogs that will learn anything in 10 minutes. Of Course the pound will him back-it's too bad you can't just love him for who he is-Have you tried a training course-I once had a chow who wasn't stupid but it seemed like he was-it turned out that he was a breed that is very stubborn (I've had pekingnese like this too) at dog training they both were first in their class because we did our homeworkAfter that I could teach them anything-

You shouldn't get a dog from the pound if you haven't the time or patience to dedicate to the animal. I'm sure the pound will take it back.

Yeah, take the animal back to the pound. In future of you want the responsibility of a pet, get a goldfish.

There are no stupid dogs, just stupid owners. The dog is testing you, while you think you are testing the dog. You must build a relationship with him to get a response. But I don't think you'll manage if you have this attitude.

You are not a dog person in fact, please take the dog back and tell them that is why you are taking the dog back because he is stupid and they will take him back for sure. No worries.

Any dog is only as good as the training it receives. Don't blame the dog for your lack of training skills.
