Knowing for sure what went on all day in my kids life, and not missing any special moments, instead of just getting a report on a half slip of paper with smiley face stickers or sad face stickers to tell me how his day was.

Being totally responsible for my children's well-being is the best. I am the one who teaches values to my children....I make sure the homework is done, and done correctly. I dont have to rush through homework so that I can take care of the other million projects to be accomplished. Setting my own schedule is another benefit. I probably WORK more now than I did outside the home because my expectations for a clean home are higher. And the more time I have, the more volunteer projects I take on. Staying home is SO rewarding and I wouldnt trade it for any amount of money!

I get the satisfaction of feeling like I am responsible for every single terrific thing my kids do. Since I didn't start being a sahm until my second was born, I also have the honor of being there for all of his "firsts"...smiles, steps, words, etc... I love getting paid in hugs and kisses and snuggling while we read books together.

knowing that i am completely involved in every aspect of my daughters life..i can make sure that she is loved and cared for properly each and every day..i get to see her grow, i get to see her learn, i get to see her being so cute! i love being home with her! everyday is a true blessing and i highly recommend to any family that can afford it, let the mom stay home and raise your baby! you dont want some stranger teach them right from wrong, and you definetely dont want to miss out on their firsts..the first smile, the first sit up,the first crawl, the first walk, the first word, the first i love you! no amount of money is worth missing those things :)
