It's been doing it probably around once or twice a month since I was a young teenager (I'm 24). If I sit still for a second it stops. No one else I've ever met has experienced this. Anyone know what it might be?

I have had the same thing!!!!!

It feels like my brain is vibrating side to side really fast, and then it changes directions and I get kinda dizzy...if I open my eyes it stops.

I have had it off and on for several years and I don't know why. I am 34 and have been on some psych meds that have made it more common, but I am not on those meds anymore.

It just happens now and then.....it is really kinda scary, but I have no idea what it is other than maybe, MAYBE, a mild form of Meniere's disease???? My biological father has it and it makes him dizzy and gives him vertigo....that is the only thing that makes any sense and I have known no one else to experience this but you!!!

I hope you can find out what it is.

Hey I use to get that too and everytime I mentioned it everyone just gave me weird looks. I never wanted to tell the doctor because I thought he might react the same way. I would always think, "How would he react if I told him my brain is shaking?". Sorry I can't be of any help to you but I want to know what it is too. But if it helps, I always thought that I was overworking and overstressed without any rest. At that time I was working while in HS and, when I graduated, I immediately worked two jobs and tried to keep up with the social life but when I met my hubby I didn't have to work so hard and those shakes slowly disappeared.

It is probably getting ready to explode with green goo, like the Martians in Independence Day when they heard the Canadian Love Call song.
