Firefox and IE can be on a computer together. Firefox doesn't erase IE when you install it. If you don't like Firefox, simply click on the IE icon again. If you want to uninstall Firefox, you can do so in your Control Panel.

Downloading and installing Firefox should not at all interfere with I.E. I routinely use both of them on my system at the same time. Removing FF is an option if you want to get rid of it, but there's really no need.

By the way, if you do go back to IE you should begin to use version 7 as it has many new features including lots of security patches that are long overdue.

You can use IE at any time firefox wont have any affect on it. I still have to use IE when downloading windows updates, but that's it. There will be an unistaller for firefox if you really want to remove it.

You'll love Firefox

You can use Firefox and IE both at the same time. Just click on the desktop icon of the browser you want to use.

I have both (actually I have copies of six or seven browsers! I am a website developer and test on them all) So you needn't worry about it! You can keep copies of all on your system. Just download ol' Firefox, and, when it asks, make Firefox your default browser, if you wish, just say "no", and maybe even, if you wish, just say "don't ask again" - the answer(s) are up to you and can be changed later. You can *always* change your "default" browser and you *don't* have to uninstall any of them! Enjoy!

I use both, but the more I use Firefox, the better I like it.
Plus...and it's a BIG Plus...Firefox is less susceptible to viruses.

Also, Firefox has lots of cool add-ons.
My Favorite is StumbleUpon.
