I thought this guy in work liked me showed an interest,remembered stuff, shared family life stories, told me stuff he wouldnt tell everyone, over helpful with work stuff but ive been on work dos and he doesnt seem to go out of his way to speak to me and its me initating it. He is quite shy and so am i so maybe were both sending mixed signals. If hes not interested why is he awkward/nervous round me yet wont make a move on me at dos

stop beating around the bush and just ask him it will be hard not just because you're nervous but because of what his reaction might be, but isn't it better to know than to go without knowing it'll only eat u up inside with anxiety, so tell him how you feel you'll probably be glad you did even if the answer isnt what u were hoping for exactly.

i know how you feel. this is easy to happen. he may have no interest he may really fancy you. he may be acting like that because he thinks that you fancy him. so the best thing to do. is talk to him flirt even. just get closer. if he twigs you are making a move he might ,make a move himself. valentines is coming up. send him a card. make sure your there when he opens it then flash a smile at him!!!!!!!! works every time.

Try blanking him a few times (not in an obvious way) next time you are at a work do (e.g. talk to the people he is with, but not to him) and see how he reacts. If he does like you, he should get peed off and make the effort to talk to you ;)

He may be thinking about the impact it would have on your working relationship. Work relationships can be very damaging. He may well be weighing up the benefits of being with you over the potential damage to his career.

Urm.... that sounds like me!!!
If he's any thing like me, perhaps he has had a couple of rubbish relationships and really doesn't want to be hurt again.
Why don't you make a move on him? then at least you will know where you stand.
