I was just wondering, I drink liquor socially myself, my party drink is Wray and Nephew w/ OJ. But when you think about it, why do so many people drink alcohol and beer? Like Hennessy and Vodka even my favorite drink that I've listed, Jamaican rum is overproof, None of the drinks are sweet like Alize or Hypnotiq or other beverages to make you want more. So what draws people to drink alcohol and beer, its bitter and very cruel to your insides when drinking it straight. I was just thinking about it, because I'm sitting here drinking French Vanilla coffee and the person who made it didn't put enough condensed milk in it, so it has this bitter-sweet after taste, (more bitter than sweet) but yet I still want some more... lol I know it seems like a silly question, but you can still answer it.

TO BUBBLY: Obviously, you a very retarded person to even post something like that. It's call preference and not only Black people drink Hennessy and gin, are you upset that maybe you can't afford the $300 bottle of scotch that is left out on the shelf because all the "black" people took at the "black drinks". And since when does hearing liquor in a song ruin it for everybody, it's called ADVERTISING and if someone that we know is endorsing it, of course people is going to support it too. I am not a big drinker but my father is and has been since I can remember he drinks tequila daily and it's going to kill him it's only a matter of time. It's a disease and addiction, like drugs it's the after effect's these people seek. The feeling of being high/drunk and numbness to whatever they are trying to suppress. I doubt they drink because it taste's good. I drink occsionally too but I mostly drink to relax and loosen up socially, but it's a rare occasion and I never get drunk like my father. I guess the answer to your question could only be answered by the person holding the drink as to what makes them want/need to.

Simply put, your body metabolsim can burn through the beer quicker than liquor. think about it,we are talking a 5-10 min beer to a 1 second shot. Enjoy but not too much. Peace!

Obviously you like to mask the alcohol with sugar. Others have different tastes. Some like spicy food, some salty, some sweet. Why do people eat dark chocolate when they can have milk chocolate? Where would the world be if no one liked to eat all things tangy? I don't know...but I'd bet it'd be a very uptight world to live in!

Well it's all about taste and preference. Like some people like sweet tastes and some people like bitter. Kinda like some people like tea and some like coffee. Like I like Yukon Jack because it has a sharp, strong, burn but has a sweet citrus after taste.

some people, like myself like that little bitter taste. plus if you get some good gin, or scotch there is no bitter taste. I personally dont get how people can drink overly sweet drinks.

Why do all black people ALWAYS drink the same stuff?
Like Hypnotiq and Hennessey and the effing list goes on?
You guys hear about a liquor in a rap song and you guys just run with it and ruin that drink for everyone else.
If you go to a regular supermarket that also sells liquor you will notice that the store locks up all of these "black drinks" like Hennessey and gin but they leave $300 bottles of scotch out in the open.... Why? Because stupid lowlifes don't know what a top shelf liquor is.

everyone has their own taste in what they drink, and they drink because they like it. and if they are meeting friends at a bar, or wherever they have it. just like you , you like french vanilla coffee, you drink it. same difference.
