uh... I guess that would depend upon the owner of the house you are attempting to enter... and whether the backdoor an exit only door. You will probably only find out if it's ok to come in the backdoor if you ask the owner of the house. If the owner says it's ok, then you should enter slowly and carefully so as to not damage the house.

I would not enter the back door, side door or any door for that matter because the front door is the most important and if thats shut, thats your cue to get out!!
