Well I don't think that religeons corner the market on using words like "lost" or "blind". I've been called everything but my name in this forum merely because I parrot what the Bible says. To be sure some can use their faith to make themselves feel puffed up and more important than they are but speaking as a christian, we are warned against such things. It is not ME that says others are "lost" but the Bible. I agree with the Bible because I believe it's true. I don't think I have any more value than the unbeliever. I'm just in a better position. This is a position I didn't aquire through my own brains or personality or merit. It was a gift I recieved. If a person rejects a free gift that insures their position in heaven then they are blind or lost or rebellious. I can view it no other way as a christian. If that offends you, sorry your offended. I don't believe that this belief makes me "better" than anyone. I'm just one beggar trying to tell another beggar where to find bread. If you reject it....there is something wrong with your heart, not mine.

We are all sinners. Nobody is better but some do have faith and others do not. Christians are called to tell others about that faith there is nothing wrong about doing so. In this world of so called Enlightenment do people think its all good, but then the Greeks civilization thought the same thing and there isn't much of them left but an old philosophy that keeps stirring up among the so called sophisticated/educated society.

As far as I'm aware only one. Wiccans are not to spend time in the company of "younger souls" because it will only impede our spiritual development. Of course, we really aren't supposed to go around saying, "I'm sorry, but you're a younger soul and impeding my spiritual development, so we can't talk anymore," because that would be hurtful to the other person and we're not supposed to harm anyone. However, there is nothing in the teachings that says only Wiccans have old souls. Anyone who is at the same place.level on their journey, regardless of which path they're taking, is "worthy" of our time.

Hopefully that makes sense...

ha! My belief says that because I know something that nobody on earth knows, I am at present WORSE than anyone else! More knowledge demands more responsiblility. As Jesus said, "How I am straightened until it is accomplished."

Phl 2:3 [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Christianity does not say I am better than anyone else- if I could say that I would not need Jesus' salvation, I could save myself. When a person accepts Christ, that is admittance that WE NEED A SAVIOR. We are no better, just forgiven. If a Christian ever says we are better than you, they are wrong- may God forgive us for our pride.
