Sir Alex is the greatest not only in scotland but even around the planet he has a name there and apart from him I don't see any other scot Manager to do at least 60 percent of what Alex has done.

Alf, you need to get those blue tinted specs off again. Got to agree with all the other people who put Jock Stein. 9 in a row and the first British team to win the European Cup. Rangers have been Follow, Following the Hoops ever since.

Alex Ferguson, not only did he win TWO European cups with a provisional club like Aberdeen with no money and also broke the old firm, he transformed Man utd into the biggest club the world has knowing, ( remember he had no money at man utd either) built both teams from scratch

Think your rippin the p ish pal! From your list, Willie Waddell because he won the league with a provincial club...Killie, before having the same success at Ibrox, same with Stein, he had success with Dunfermline before moving to Celtic, and who the else has had success with them!!!! Currently, it's got to be Fergie.

The reason Scots make better managers than players is thatwe are the true leaders of Britain, in innovation, philosophy and politics and this transfers over to football. We run their country and their football league would be RUBBISH without us and the other nation they disparage, the French!
